Henry Gomez

Gomez is a multi-faceted public figure, who remains committed to education, entertainment, and community service. He holds an MFA (Theatre) and an MA (Interdisciplinary Studies) from York University. Gomez is an executive member of the Harriet Tubman Institute, a founding member and current president of Organization of Calypso Performing Artistes, a board member of the Festival Management Committee as the representative for the Organization of Calypso Performing Artistes, former Chair of Caribana Arts Group, and a nominee for a Teacher of The Year award. He is also an event manager. As King Cosmos, he is a composer and recording artiste and the winner of various music awards. His music can be found on You Tube, Spotify and other streaming platforms. He has hosted shows at Harbourfront Centre and Afrofest, as well as programs on radio stations CFRB 1010 and CIUT 89.5 FM. Gomez is also a stage, radio, film, and TV personality.
