Terrence Wilson

Terrence Wilson's love of Steelpan began when he watched the Panorama competitions in his country of birth - Trinidad. He honed and developed his passion and skill after immigrating to Canada in his twenties. He joined the Afropan community classes where he started as a Tenor Pan player and worked his way around all the instruments until finally landing on his favourites- the mid-range instruments like the Guitar Pan, the Three- and Four- pan. Wilson takes great pride in his current role as the President of the Ontario Steelpan Association (OSA) and sees a bright future of Steel pan. He envisions regional pan concerts and festivals across Ontario and Canada. Wilson now also represents all Steel bands including his own, New Dimension Steel Orchestra, on the Board of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival.
