The season begins with Toronto’s Mas Bands unveiling their 2026 costume collections — the first look, the first chance to secure your spot on the road. Each launch is a dazzling showcase of creativity, culture, and craftsmanship, where designers reveal the themes that will define this year’s Carnival.

Official Launch of Toronto Caribbean Carnival
June 13, 2026 | 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Scarborough Town Centre
The Toronto Caribbean Carnival officially kicks off with a high-energy celebration like no other! Experience live performances, an international marketplace, Caribbean cuisine, and a preview of the stunning costumes to come. The Official Launch is where the Carnival and City come alive — where the pulse of the Caribbean takes over Toronto and the countdown to the Grand Parade begins!

Junior King & Queen Showcase

Surprise! Back by popular demand, the Junior King & Queen Showcase returns to the Carnival calendar! This beloved event shines a spotlight on the creativity and imagination of our youngest masqueraders as they debut their majestic, custom-designed costumes. From regal crowns to dazzling wings, every design tells a story of heritage and pride. It’s an afternoon of pure joy and pageantry — where the next generation of Carnival royalty takes centre stage and reminds us all that the future of the festival is bright, bold, and beautiful.

Junior Carnival Parade

Celebrate the future of Carnival! This family-friendly day features a colourful costumed street parade displaying the joy of the children in our communities in vibrant, hand-crafted costumes. With music, performances, and pride in full display, it’s a joyful expression of diversity, unity, and community — a true celebration of youth, culture, and Caribbean spirit.

OCPA Calypso Showcase
July 25, 2026 |5:30 PM (Competition 6:30 PM)

An evening dedicated to Calypso — the voice and storytelling soul of the Caribbean. Presented by the Ontario Steelpan Organization. Through wit, rhythm, and melody, calypsonians share stories that echo the heart and times of our culture — tales of joy, struggle, and triumph. Experience their latest compositions live as they compete for the title of Calypso Monarch of Canada, in a night where every lyric carries history, humour, and truth.

King & Queen Showcase
July 30, 2026 | 5:00 pm – 2:00 am
Lamport Stadium
Step into a world of grandeur, creativity, and spectacle. The King & Queen Showcase is Carnival’s crown jewel, where each Mas Band unveils magnificent, larger-than-life costumes in a breathtaking display of artistry and performance. Beyond the competition, it’s an electrifying celebration of Caribbean culture, creativity, and pride.

OSA Toronto Panorama – Keepin’ Pan Alive

The Ontario Steelpan Association brings the sounds of Trinidad & Tobago to life with the annual Steelband competition. Feel the heartbeat of the steelpan as Canada’s top orchestras deliver powerful performances under the stars — a must for lovers of Caribbean music and culture.

Grand Parade

The main event! The Toronto Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade fills the city with colour, creativity, and Caribbean rhythm. Thousands of masqueraders dance to the sounds of soca and calypso, while spectacular costumes dazzle spectators along the lakeshore. It’s the largest celebration of its kind in North America — a tradition of freedom, pride, and unity.

OSA Pan in D’ Park

Close the Carnival weekend with a Sunday serenade of steelpan. Presented by the Ontario Steelpan Association, this free, family-oriented event invites you to picnic and enjoy community steelbands performing in a peaceful park setting — a celebration of melody, rhythm, and togetherness.

Fête en Blanc

An unforgettable all-white waterfront soirée. Enjoy curated Caribbean cuisine, live entertainment, and dancing under the stars at the Belleville Yacht Club. A night of beauty, music, and magic — coast into elegance with the spirit of Carnival.

Who says Carnival is only for summer? Caribbean Winterfest at Blue Mountain transforms the slopes into a snowy celebration of Caribbean warmth and joy. Enjoy tropical vibes with winter flair — featuring DJs, dance parties, cultural showcases, and Caribbean food against a ski-resort backdrop. A truly unique Carnival-meets-winter experience!

As part of the Winterfest weekend, this high-energy event with soca, reggae, and dancehall takes you from a snowy dancefloor under the stars to defrost with live performances and that unmistakable Carnival energy.
