Toronto Caribbean Carnival Official Launch 2027 begins the festival’s historic 60th anniversary season on Saturday, June 12, 2027, at Scarborough Town Centre.

Join Toronto Caribbean Carnival for an exciting celebration of Caribbean culture, music, food, creativity and community. The Official Launch brings the energy of Carnival to the city with live performances, an international marketplace, Caribbean cuisine and a special preview of the costumes and artistic presentations coming during the 2027 festival season.

What to Expect

Visitors will experience the sights, sounds and spirit of Carnival in a welcoming community celebration. The Official Launch is the beginning of the countdown to the Junior King & Queen Showcase, Junior Carnival Parade, King & Queen Showcase and Grand Parade.

Celebrating 60 Years

Toronto Caribbean Carnival’s 60th anniversary honours six decades of Caribbean culture, artistic expression, community and impact in Toronto. The 2027 season will celebrate the festival’s history while introducing a new generation to the music, costumes and traditions that make Carnival an internationally recognized cultural experience.
